On Saturday the 19th of February 2011 members of Battery D
"Reilly's Battery", 1st North Carolina Artillery and some of
their colleagues' from Living History and Associates gathered
for the 26th Regiment North Carolina Troops's Annual Camp
of Instruction. 1SGT Joe Slifer and Captain David
Stanley were both sick and brevet 2nd LT Chris Moose and SGT
Mike Rhyne took charge of the Civil War Artillery Reenactors
and conducted gun drill and mounted drill. CPL Don
Collins and his associates set up a World War II display
that included items from US 82nd Airborne, British Airborne
and German SS. SGT Jim Lankford continued to take some
outstanding photographs, a sample of which that you see
below. There are also several photos of the 26th Regiment
North Carolina Troops drilling.
